Ch. 8: Conclusion
A Call for Research
In this exposť, I have presented evidence of the extensive use of geographical imagery by the ancients. The degree to which such imagery influenced myth, religion and history will be determined largely through painstaking research. I invite all those interested in knowing the truth to join in the endeavor.
Be aware that there there may be some religious opposition to such inquiries. If, perhaps, the "story" of Christ was to be one last use of geographical imagery in an effort to end polytheism, then there may have been a sustained, systematic suppression of information by the religious establishment to hide that fact. Is that why the ancient use of geographical imagery has remained hidden for so long? If so, will new research be suppressed as well?
